PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocking chair with which a user never feels tiredness or a pain even if sitting for a long period of time, which can be folded compactly, and which never damages a floor surface nor makes an uncomfortable noise. SOLUTION: The chair is provided with: a U-shaped back frame whose lower end side is open; a U-shaped seat base frame whose upper end side is open; a stay connected to the back frame and the seat base frame; an armrest frame U-shaped in a front view whose rear horizontal side part is connected to a side part of the back frame and a front vertical side part is connected to an upper end side part of the seat base frame; a reinforcing frame connected to both side parts of a lower side of the back frame; and a flexible sheet material suspended at an upper end of the rear frame and an open upper end of the seat base frame. Either of the back frame and the seat base frame is arranged on the inside of the other and formed to cross in an X-shape in a lateral view. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
