<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging equipment which detects a fault of cooled status of a charging equipment with a cooling device. <P>SOLUTION: The equipment includes a drive circuit 18 for the cooling device for driving the cooling device 15 to cool a charged battery connected to the charging equipment, and a current detection means 19 for detecting a current which flows through the cooling device.
