PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely, accurately and quickly move a workpiece using a telescopic arm comprising multiple stages. SOLUTION: The multiple stages are a plurality of stages 23, 24, 25 relatively movably supported and comprise common drive/transmission means 21, 22, 26-33 for transmitting driving forces to the stages, and a plurality of transmission varying means L1-L3, MG1-MG6.
