ELECTRONIC KEY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key capable of preventing the radio interference of an ID request signal and a transponder signal with each other and capable of improving the communicating function of the transponder and a transmitter provided in a vehicle. SOLUTION: This electronic key 12 is provided with a case body 41 and a key 42 inserted into a key insert port formed in a vehicle. LF zone receiver antennas 50a and 50b for receiving the ID request signal are housed in the case body 41. The transponder 22 is housed in the key 42, and a buffer material 51 is interposed between the transponder 22 and a housing recess 49 for the same. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
