PURPOSE:A liquefied preparation of seaweeds useful as DORINKU agent (nutritive solution), etc., by treating seaweeds with an enzyme, so that fibers or cell walls of the seaweeds are dissolved, and the seaweeds are liquefied. CONSTITUTION:Seaweeds (preferably WAKAME seaweed, etc.) are blended with preferably 5 times as much as water and 0.01-1wt% (based on raw material to be treated) enzyme (e.g., blend of cellulase and pectinase, etc.), and reacted preferably at 20-60 deg.C for 2-4hr while stirring. The seaweeds are heated preferably at 80-95 deg.C for about 5min, so that the enzyme is deactivated and the seaweeds and filtered, to give the aimed preparation. |
