PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide member which is suitable for electric communication equipment with a small-sized liquid crystal panel such as the display of a mobile communication terminal, a remote controller for a television set or video recorder reproducer, a portable game terminal etc. SOLUTION: This light guide member has a light source arranged on one flank and the light of the light source is guided in the light guide member and emitted from the front while reflected and refracted; and the light guide member is formed by dispersing arborization molecules containing metal-based particles which are at least one of metal particles and alloy particles differing in refractive index from a transparent resin in the transparent resin.
