PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removing equipments for removing solid substances at the intake of sewerage or those generated when industrial waste water is treated. SOLUTION: A screen having square openings and long in the flow direction is characterized by being formed by using a fiber-reinforced plastic material. The depth of the crosspiece part of this screen is made to be twice or more as long as the width of the crosspiece of the measure. The cross-sectional shape of the crosspiece on the upstream side is made chevroned or curved convexly. This screen can hardly be entwined with fibrous solid substances and can be made lightweight since the solid lubricant-added fiber-reinforced plastic material is adopted as the material of this screen. This screen can hardly be clogged with solid substances by making the size of the openings on the upstream side smaller than that of the openings on the downstream side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
