PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position controlling device of a wheelchair which solves problems that an inclined wheelchair on a lateral slope winds its way by giving a parallel component force which is parallel to a lateral slope road surface to a low direction, that propulsive force added to a lower part of the inclined wheelchair must be quite larger than a higher part to go straight, that it is difficult to improve by using a wheelchair in use, and so on. SOLUTION: One each slider 31 on either side which pivots a rear wheel 21 on either side respectively, one each sliding seat 32 on either side in which a guide groove which can move and guide the slider 31 up and down is formed, respectively, one set of pull-up means 60 on either side which can takes up the slider 31 over the sliding seat 32 on either side separately are provided. The sliding seat 32 is moved relatively downward for the slider 31 and the wheelchair in a laterally inclined position is controlled to a horizontal position, by pulling up the slider 31 on a topside of the slope by the pull-up means 60, when a wheelchair goes on the lateral slope road surface.
