<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable communication equipment by which electric power required in case of emergency is secured and an emergency message is surely performed. <P>SOLUTION: A main battery 26 is connected with a DC-DC converter 32 via a diode D1. An electrical discharge switch 30 is connected with a backup battery 28 and an emergency button 20 and the portable communication equipment is constituted so that the electrical discharge switch 30 is turned on by transfer of the emergency button 20 to an on position 20B. The electric power required in case of emergency is stored in the backup battery 28. The electrical discharge switch 30 is connected with the DC-DC converter 32 via a diode D2. The DC-DC converter 32 is connected with a system section 34 and an emergency button 34 is also connected with the system section 34. When the emergency button 20 is depressed and transferred to the on position 20B, power supply to the system section 34 is performed from both of the main battery 26 and the backup battery 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
