PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the gyro moment of a flywheel in an energy accumulation type drive unit. SOLUTION: A flywheel in an energy accumulation type drive unit is interlocked with a drive shaft via a universal joint at a boss part thereof, and a spring member to maintain the flywheel in a perpendicular attitude to the drive shaft when the flywheel is in a stationary condition is provided between the flywheel and the drive shaft thereof.
