PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner designed not to enlarge a body and having little exhaust pressure loss. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with a D-cut part 20' at a motor bracket 17 containing a rotor and a core (which are not shown in the figure), and an electric component 24 at the D-cut part 20'. The body 16 does not become large even if mounting the electric component 24. This constitution is particularly useful for the miniaturization of the vacuum cleaner to provide the vacuum cleaner prevented from the enlargement of the body 16 and having little exhaust pressure loss.
