PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an urethane protective coating film which permanently protects a waterproof layer on roof or the like from attacks by birds or the like and which is effective to protect an urethane protective waterproof layer from birds in such cases that a method of surrounding roof with nets or nylon strings, a method by use of sound or magnetic force or a method of stimulating visions of birds degrades the functions of a multipurpose space or the effect of the methods is not expected because of habituation or learning ability of birds. SOLUTION: A protective coating film containing a urethane resin having 600 to 3,400 N/mm tensile product and 100 to 600% elongation as physical properties of a coating film, and a granular inorganic aggregate is applied onto the waterproof layer.
