CAPSULE MEDICAL CARE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capsule medical care device which is capable of controlling its operation until it reaches the neighborhood of a site where it is desired to be operated or the like.

SOLUTION: A patient 2 swallows a capsule 3 with a built-in image pick-up means before an external unit 4 arranged outside the body receives from a wireless circuit 22 a signal sent from the capsule 3 through an antenna array 21 consisting of a plurality of antennas for detecting the site and send the signal to a comparison circuit 25 after detecting the site of the capsule 3 by a site detection circuit 24. The comparison circuit 25 judges whether the data of a pre-established specific space position is coincident with that of the capsule within a threshold by a specific site establishing means 28 of a personal computer 5 so that an image pick-up action does not start until the capsule reaches the site where it is desired to be operated, thereby controlling a wasteful consumption of a battery 16 of the capsule 3.
