PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product feeder for increasing the product feed speed by shortening the elevating/lowering cycle of an elevator. SOLUTION: This product feeder comprises a feed conveyor 14 to carry a product P on a carrying surface, a bottom guide 16 to guide the product P fed from the feed conveyor 14, an elevator 18 having holding members 32 to receive the product P from the bottom guide and hold it which lowers the holding members 32 to deliver the product, and a pusher 66 to push the product P at the lowered position of the elevator 18. Since the elevator 18 lowers the product P and delivers it, the elevating/lowering distance can be reduced irrespective of the maximum height of the product P. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
