The invention comprises novel intermediates of the following general formula : (see formula I) These intermediates are suitable for the preparation of novel unnatural dipeptoids of a-substituted Trp-Phe derivatives which are useful as agents in the treatment of obesity, hypersecretion of gastric acid in the gut and gastrin- dependent tumors, or as antipsychotics.
