PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing beam facilitating positioning of adjacent building units for a large three-dimensional space. SOLUTION: Inside a unit building including normal building units which have a square framework with a ceiling beam 32B and a floor beam 33B connected with top and bottom of columns 31 on each four corner, and building units for large space in which one column is omitted from the normal unit, a reinforcing beam 40 is provided to connect the adjacent units for large space and strengthen the connection where the column-omitted portions of each unit for large space are positioned adjacently to accommodate a large space with no column therein. The reinforcing beam is provided with a plate 42 which is mounted covering at least the top of the column of the unit and extending in horizontal direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
