PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining an acyl fluoride, improved in its yield and selectivity. SOLUTION: This method for producing the acyl fluoride comprises performing the reaction of carbonyl fluoride (COF<SB>2</SB>) with a compound expressed by the formula: T=CR<SB>1</SB>R<SB>2</SB>(wherein T is O or CF<SB>2</SB>; R<SB>1</SB>, R<SB>2</SB>are the same or different and are each F or R(O)<SB>t</SB>radical (wherein, R is a linear or branched 1-7C (per)fluoroalkyl); and (t) is 0 or 1 integer) by using a catalyst which is selected from CsF, RbF, KF, AgF or each mixed with≥1 other compound, and supported with a porous compound.
