PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reacting a 1-phosphorylated sugar derivative with a nucleic acid base derivative in the presence of a nucleoside phosphorylase to produce a nucleoside derivative, by which the highly pure nucleoside derivative can be produced at a low cost in an improved nucleoside conversion in high generality. SOLUTION: This method for producing the nucleoside derivative represented by formula (2) is characterized by reacting the 1-phosphorylated sugar derivative represented by formula (1) with the nucleic acid base derivative in the presence of the nucleoside phosphorylase and an ion exchange resin. Thereby, the nucleoside derivative can be recovered in the presence of the ion exchange resin in a high yield. The ion exchange resin can be used as a phosphate-trapping agent at a low cost, and the recovered phosphate can advantageously be recycled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
