<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LCD assembly for a radio information terminal apparatus capable of reducing possibility of erroneous operation, securing an LCD module more safely at the same time and having potential for a waterproof effect. <P>SOLUTION: This LCD assembly includes the LCD module 10 having an LCD 11 and a TSP 12 attached to the surface of the LCD, a housing 20 consisting of upper and lower housing members 21 and 22 brought into mutual contact to be connected together for supporting the LCD module and having an exposure window with a predetermined size formed in the upper housing member, and an interval maintaining member 50 arranged between a TSP edge part of the LCD module and the upper housing member for maintaining a fixed gap between them and formed of a rubber material with excellent elasticity and impulsive water absorbing characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
