METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PHOTOCHROMIC LENS

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a photochromic lens is provided to have a short variable time, to prevent the haze effect and to have an excellent hardness and the cutoff rate of ultraviolet ray at the surface of the coated lens. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a photochromic lens includes the steps of: mixing the solution of light sensitive spiropyran compound and the light sensitive spirooxazine compound with the acrylic-based binder. The coating solution composition for use in the photochromic lens includes a spiropyran compound, a spirooxazine compound, a toluene and a binder. The spiropyran compound has a weight of 1.5% to 5%, the toluene has a weight of 60% to 65% and the binder has a weight of 100%.
