PURPOSE: A catalyst system for polyolefin preparation in which metalloenamine compound is reacted with Lewis acid to produce an active metalloenamine catalyst, and a preparation method for polyolefin using the catalyst system are is provided. CONSTITUTION: The polyolefin preparation method comprises olefin polymerization conducted at a temperature of 25 to 500 deg.C under the pressure of 15 to 1500 psi, in the presence of the catalyst system comprising metalloenamine compound having a structure of C=C-N-M(wherein M is metal element) and Lewis acid (A), wherein the metalloenamine compound is reacted with the Lewis acid to form zwitterion complexes having a structure of -A-C-C=N-M+.
