PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the flow of waterways with a propeller and a method for calculating the amount of flow by using the same are provided to measure the flow of the waterways without depending on the condition of the waterways such as a depth of the water. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(20) for measuring the flow of the waterways with a propeller includes a sensor(31), a propeller, a propeller main body(29), a space member(40), a body(22) and a sensor(30). The propeller is in the form of sphere and the sensor(31) is installed on the outside of the propeller. The propeller main body(29) is installed 4 directions along the rotational axis(23), The space member(40) is formed in such a way that the rotational axis(23) of the propeller main body(29) is rotatably inserted into the groove. The groove is capable of supporting the rotational axis(23) to the rotational axis height(24) at the left and right sides of the inner spacer member(40). The sensor(30) is formed on the top of the body(22) by determining the heights of the inlet(27) and the outlet(25) based on the rotational axis height(24) of the propeller main body(29) at the front surface and the rear surface of the body(22). |
