PURPOSE: An LED(light emitting diode) for emitting purplish pink light is provided to excite fluorescent powder and generate red light with a wavelength of around 650 nanometer by irradiating purple light with a wavelength scope of 405-430 nanometer to red fluorescent powder coated on the surface of an LED chip. CONSTITUTION: The LED chip(1) generates purple light with a scope of a light emitting wavelength of 405-430 nanometer. The excited red fluorescent powder has a component of 6MgO*As2O5:Mn or 3.5MgO*0.5MgF2*GeO2:Mn. The light emitted from the LED chip for emitting purple light with a wavelength scope of 405-430 nanometer excites the red fluorescent powder coated on the LED chip to generate red light with a wavelength of about 650 nanometer. |
