PURPOSE: To provide an information recording device or the like, capable of recording original audio information, while establishing permission or inhibition of execution of editorial processing involving the fracturing of the original audio information to be recorded or already recorded by an editor's will. CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with an operation part 15, which specifies fracturing timing in recording information when continuous recording information is fractured to be recorded on DVD 1, a pickup 2 for recording front section recording information which is recording information prior to a specified fracturing timing and rear section recording information which is recording information after the specified fracturing timing on DVD 1, a system controller 7 which generates permission information, showing the permission on inhibition of further fracturing of at least either of the front section recording information and the rear section recording information, and the pickup 2 for recording the generated permission information on DVD 1.
