PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for inspecting a tape feeder are provided to enhance the quality of the tape feeder by improving a recognition method and an error rate of the tape feeder. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for inspecting a tape feeder includes a base part(23), a control part(25), a recognition part(26), a monitor(27), and a computer(28). The base part(23) includes a base(22). A tape feeder(21) is loaded on the base(22). The control part(25) is installed at an end portion of the support part(24) adjacent to the base part(23). The recognition part(26) is connected to the control part. The recognition part includes a camera to recognize a target of an end of the tape feeder. The monitor(27) is used for displaying the images of the recognition part(26) and a basic chart. The computer(28) is used for driving software.
