HEAT PIPE UNIT AND HEAT PIPE TYPE HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE: A heat pipe unit and a heat pipe type heat exchanger are provided to simplify structure, to facilitate production, and to have improved thermal efficiency for the compact size. CONSTITUTION: A heat pipe unit(10) comprises a tank(2); plural pipes(3) joined to a side of the tank to be in communication with the tank; a working fluid sealed in the tank and movable between the pipes and the tank; and plural fins(4) each provided on the pipes. The pipes are closed at an end thereof opposite an end where the pipes are joined to the tank. The tank has a larger cross-sectional area than the cross-sectional area of the pipes.
