FIELD: mechanical engineering; conveyor transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flexible working members of screw conveyors which can be used both as independent transportation means, and in feeders, sewage water cleaning grids, screw presses, sand classifiers, etc. proposed working member of screw conveyor has flexible spiral with drive and terminating flights. Flights of flexible spiral are made with deformation, under action of load, decreasing in direction of drive flight, and/or flexible spiral is furnished with at least one rod connected with inner sides of flights. Making of working member spiral flights with deformation under load decreasing in direction of drive flight is provided owing to increase of their thickness and/or use of materials with higher elastic properties. Terminating flight has edge rounding off radius r = (0.15-0.3)R where R is outer radius of flexible spiral flights. ^ EFFECT: increased service life of screw conveyor working member. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
