FIELD: chitin derivative technology. SUBSTANCE: method comprises preparing acidic aqueous chitosan solution, removing undissolved chitosan particles via filtration or precipitation, and modifying chitosan. In that process, chitosan solution freed of undissolved particles is dispersed in presence of hydrophobic surfactant and acetone using mixing at speed no lower than 1000 rpm. Resultant emulsion is modified with organic acid anhydride or dicarboxylic acid dichloride continuing mixing at the same speed to give chitosan emulsion with spherical granule size no more than 100 nm. Preparation of chitosan gel and chitosan suspension from modified chitosan emulsion are also described. EFFECT: reduced size of chitosan granules in gel and emulsion. 9 cl, 9 ex |
