FIELD: sound presentation of alphanumeric information. SUBSTANCE: method meant to present information by sound signals in Braille code so as to aurally perceive symbol items in Braille code and to associate sound signal with spatial presentation of symbol in Braille code includes presentation of each data symbol item in the form of combination of short and long sound signals. Sound signals corresponding to part of symbol item are separated from one another within one symbol item by short interval t1. Symbol items are separated from one another by long interval t2>=3t1. Sound signals corresponding to different Braille symbols are separated from one another by still longer interval t3>=3t2. Each symbol item in Braille code is presented by not more than two sound signals. First signal dictates column wherein symbol item in Braille code is disposed. Second signal governs line of symbol item in Braille code. EFFECT: enhanced speed and precision of perceiving symbol items. 1 cl, 3 dwg |
