PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte type fuel cell the sealing effect and battery performance of which do not decrease, even if thermal cycles are repeated. SOLUTION: A cell plate 20 comprises of an electrolyte plate 44 having an anode 14 on one side of a solid electrolyte plate 12 and a cathode 16 on the other side of it, and a gas circulation plate 46 on which a gas passage 32 is formed. A first sealing material 50 consisting of a material which does not soften at an operating temperature of a battery is disposed between the electrolyte plate 44 and a fuel plate 24 having a fuel chamber 22 and between the electrolyte plate 44 and an oxidizing agent plate 28 having an oxidizing agent chamber 26, and a second sealing material 52 consisting of a material which softens at the operating temperature of the battery is disposed between the gas circulation plate 46 and the fuel plate 24 and between the gas circulation plate 46 and the oxidizing agent plate 28. |
