PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein only two choices can no longer perform cross matching or the like although an ICC profile includes rough luster information as attribute information such as luster and no luster. SOLUTION: When embedding of the luster information to the ICC profile is instructed (S4), the luster information is acquired from a color chart placed on an original platen of a color copying machine (S8), and the acquired luster information is described to a private tag of the ICC profile (S9).
