PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aneurysm obturator for surely occluding an aneurysm. SOLUTION: This aneurysm obturator 1 is formed by a tubular structure to be inserted and held in a blood vessel 3. After being inserted in a part to be treated in the blood vessel, the obturator is expanded in the outer peripheral direction by a baloon catheter. Thus, the aneurysm obturator 1 is held in the state of closely adhering to the inner wall in the blood vessel 3. The aneurysm obturator 1 disposed in the blood vessel 3 closes an opening part 5 of aneurysm 4 to make the blood in the aneurysm thrombotic and cause organization thereof. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
