PURPOSE: To provide a display device which can provide a display of high fineness excellent in color balance. CONSTITUTION: The display device 10 has a plurality of picture elements 1 including first picture elements(R), second picture elements(G) and third picture elements(B) emitting color light rays different from each other. A plurality of spacers 2 are respectively disposed in prescribed relative positions with respect to each of the selected picture elements of part among a plurality of the picture elements. The picture elements provided with the spacers 2 include the first picture elements, the second picture elements and the third picture elements. The number of the picture elements smallest in the number among these picture elements is >=80% of the number of the picture elements of the largest number.
