AIR INTAKE STRUCTURE FOR FRONT BRACKET OF VEHICLE ALTERNATOR

PURPOSE: An air intake structure is provided to reduce resistance of the inflow air and noises by improving the structure of the inlet hole of the front bracket. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle alternator comprises a rear bracket(10) and a front bracket(20); a stator(40) interposed between the rear bracket and the front bracket; a rotating shaft(50) supported by a bearing(51) of the rear bracket and the front bracket; a rotor(60) fixed at the rotating shaft, wherein the rotor has a fan(61); a commutator(70) arranged at the end of the rotating shaft; a brush assembly(80) contacting the commutator; and a heat sink plate(90). The front bracket includes a plate(21) having a center hub(22) for insertion of the bearing; a plurality of air inlet holes(23) formed radially along the circumference of the hub; and a plurality of air outlet holes(24) formed radially along the outer edge of the plate. Each of the air inlet holes has a recess, and an inner inclined surface and an outer inclined surface.
