PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify working at the time of the offline set-up of a die roll device, while commonalizing a backup roller device for die roll devices of different sizes. SOLUTION: In the die roll device that consists of a die roller 6 and a receiving barrel 5 and allowing the roller 22 of backup roller devices 16 and 35 to roll and connect to the die roller, die roll cassettes 2 and 32 that consist of supporting the die roller and the receiving barrel by back and forth frames are unloadably installed into and from the either of fore-and-aft or up-and-down direction for body frames 1a and 1b. The backup roll device is installed so as to take shelter to positions where it does not interfere with the in and out motion of the die roll cassettes, while installing the device to the body frame side.
