PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding structure for generating an arc at a stable position and performing arc welding to an electronic element and a conductive plate with reproducibility without damaging the electronic element, and a welding method using the welding structure. SOLUTION: A welding structure 10 includes a welding part 11a formed by bending a tip part of a conductive plate 11. An apex part 11c is formed on the welding part 11a. A slit 11d is formed from a left oblique side 11b toward the center in the plate width direction of the welding part 11a, and a lead part 12a is accommodated in the slit 11d. A melting part 11e is formed between the slit 11d and the tip part of the welding part 11a including the apex part 11c. When an electrode D of an arc welding machine generates the arc to the tip of the welding part 11a, the arc is directed to the apex part 11c and melts the melting part 11e to connect the lead part 12a to the welding part 11a.
