PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear power plant for suppressing relative displacement during an earthquake without losing economy of the building by aggregately arranging them, each equipment and connection with different safety importance. SOLUTION: Reactor system components (reactor 1, emergency core cooling system 4, etc.) of the safety importance A and turbine system components (turbine generator 2, condensate purification system 7, etc.) of the safety importance B are integrated in arrangement in the same building 13 on the same foundation slab 3 placed via an isolation device. In this manner, connections (piping and the like) 14 are arranged in the same building 13, the conventional connection structures which are specific and complicated and necessary in between buildings can be omitted, and so safety and reliability improve. Also, high radiation equipments such as a reactor water purification system 6 and condensate purification system 7 can be concentrated in the same building and shielded with a common continuous shield body 8.
