PURPOSE: A device for improving pickling efficiency of hot rolling workpiece is provided to improve degreasing power when cleaning the workpiece by vertically moving the hot rolling workpiece passing through pickling tank, thereby varying a looper quantity and improve pickling efficiency by minimizing settlement quantity of various sludge. CONSTITUTION: In a hot rolling workpiece pickling facility comprising a pickling tank in which sulfuric acid for pickling a hot rolling workpiece(120) is filled, the device for improving pickling efficiency of the hot rolling workpiece comprises a driving part(10) comprising inclined rotational shafts(16,18) installed at both sides of fixed stand(22) installed inside the pickling tank in such a manner that the inclined rotational shafts(16,18) are rotated by motors(12,14), and an inclined rotational plate(20) integrally fixed to an upper part of the inclined rotational shafts(16,18); and a workpiece looper varying part comprising a sliding shaft(34) connected to the inclined rotational plate(20) in a universal joint shape, and a roll(36) into both end parts of which the sliding shaft(34) is rotationally and slidingly inserted, and through an upper part of which the hot rolling workpiece(120) passes with being closely adhered to the roll(36), wherein a linear stroke bearing(38) is mounted on both end parts of the sliding shaft(34) inserted the roll(36) so that the sliding shaft(34) is rotated and slid by the linear stroke bearing(38).
