<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering arrangement capable of raising the rotational speed of a motor as required for smooth steering feeling, with no degradation in fuel consumption saving effect nor upsizing of the motor. <P>SOLUTION: A d-axis correction current setting means 38 is provided to for correction, for a d-axis current which is a d-axis component of a motor 8, as to weaken the magnetic field of the motor 8, if a q-axis command voltage Vqo is high, q-axis actual current Iqr is small, and motor rotational speed Nm is high. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
