PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and its application for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of tumor and/or an infectious disease in central nervous system and/or other parenchymal organs in mammalian subjects.

SOLUTION: In a preferred embodiment, using a microdialysis device, effective doses of taurolidine and/or its metabolites and/or other chemotherapeutic and/or immunotherapeutic agent and/or antibiotic and/or virostatic and/or fungistatic agent are administered to a mammalian subject suffering from or at risk to growth of tumors in the central nervous system and/or other parenchymal organs.
