<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the rising and falling characteristics of a waveform outputted by a driving circuit for transmission to an optical semiconductor device without degradation in the waveform outputted by the optical semiconductor device. <P>SOLUTION: The device has an optical semiconductor device 8, high-frequency lines 2, 5 connected to the optical semiconductor device 8 for supplying electric signals to the same, and a matching resistor 4 provided between the high-frequency lines 2 and 5. The length of the high-frequency line 5 between the optical semiconductor device 8 and the matching resistor 4 is≥1/20 and≤1/4 of the length equivalent to the minimum signal pulse in transmission via the high-frequency line 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
