PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized image pickup lens with an excellent resolution, which is bright and suitable for use in information equipment and for which various aberrations are well corrected. SOLUTION: The image pickup lens is constituted of a first lens L1 in a meniscus shape with positive refractive power turning a convex surface to an object side, a fixed diaphragm, a second lens L2 in the meniscus shape with the positive refractive power turning the convex surface to an image side, and a third lens L3 in the meniscus shape having negative refractive power turning the convex surface to the image side in the order from the object side. At the time of defining the focal distance of the first lens as f1, the focal distance of the third lens as f3, the focal distance of the entire lens system as f, the curvature radius of the surface S6 on the object side of the third lens as R31 and the center thickness of the third lens as D3, the respective conditions of 0.7≤f1/f≤1.3, 0.4≤¾f3/f¾≤0.7 and 1.0≤¾R31¾/D3≤3.0 are satisfied.
