PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money pay-out machine which is easy to use and high in security. SOLUTION: The paper money pay-out machine is provided with a hopper cassette 3c for paper money; one or more cassette insertion parts 6c which insert and mount the hopper cassette freely detachably; and a paper money sending mechanism 22 which enables a cassette shutter opening/closing mechanism to open a cassette shutter and a paper money ejecting hole by making use of insertion force generated when the hopper cassette is inserted into the cassette insertion part to mount, and then moves to a position facing the paper money ejecting hole, sends out paper money stored in a paper money storage part and conveys the paper money to a conveying route, when the paper money ejecting hole is opened. In addition, this machine is provided with a paper money sending part 7c provided for every cassette insertion part; a paper money conveying route 31 which communicates with the paper money conveying route of the paper money sending part and conveys the paper money; and a paper money pay-out machine main body 2 provided with a pay-out pocket 35 which receives the paper money thus conveyed from the paper money conveying route and a pay-out part 5 which communicates with the pay-out pocket and has a paper money pay-out hole 5a which is open outward.
