PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode mounting device for an electric discharge machine, capable of easily and firmly mounting an electrode in the electric discharge machine and improving positioning accuracy. SOLUTION: A leaf spring 2 for locking and a rotating ring 3 for locking are connected and fixed to a rotation operation ring 7 and are rotatably contained in a casing 13, and ball pressing pieces 3a of the rotating ring 3 for locking are joined with pressing piece sliding grooves 1c of four pull stud pressing pieces 1 slidably arranged in the diametrical direction via balls 6 for locking. The pull stud pressing pieces 1 are moved in the radial direction by rotation of the rotation operation ring 7 and hold a pull stud 9. When the pull stud 9 is detached (when lock is released), the ball pressing pieces 3a and balls 6 for locking under a separated state are pressed and brought into contact by protrusions 2a of the leaf spring 2 for locking, so that the pull stud pressing pieces 1 are locked.
