<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cationic polymer, which improves water resistance of an image printed on an inkjet recording paper, and prevents lightfastness degradation without adding any agent for improving lightfastness. <P>SOLUTION: The cationic polymer, which is produced by copolymerization of 1-3C dialkyl 1-3C aminoalkyl (meth)acrylate methyl chloride quaternized compound or dimethyl (or diethyl) sulfuric quaternized compound and (meth)acrylamide derivative so that its CV value is within the range from 2.7 to 4.5 meq/g, is used as a fixing agent for an inkjet recording paper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
