PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a tensioning unit switchable between one with a movable belt type strip-pressing face (movable type unit) and one with immobile type strip-pressing face (immobile type unit), safely by a simple merely rotating operation. SOLUTION: On one side of the upper and lower movable type units 2, 3, there are installed immobile type units 6, 7 across a plurality of endless belts 1 cyclically moving side by side on the outer circumference of the movable type units. Then, the upper and lower movable type units 2, 3 are supported freely rotatably around the horizontal axis, thereby making the upper and lower pressing of the strip freely rotatably switchable between the movable type units 2, 3 as one part and the immobile type units 6, 7 as the other part.
