<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid chip analyzing method for achieving high quantitative properties when analyzing a nucleic acid chip probe, in which a plurality of nucleic-acid-related substances are arranged on a substrate in a matrix shape, by time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry and to provide a nucleic chip in a form capable of easily determining the amount of nucleic acids present in nucleic acid probe dots arranged on the nucleic acid chip through the use of the analytical method. <P>SOLUTION: The nucleic acid chip is provided with nucleic acid probe dots for concentration reference which are formed on a chip substrate by the same technique as that of the formation of the nucleic acid probe dots and of which the average density of nucleic acids per dot is determined. Through the use of a calibration curve created on the basis of the signal intensity of secondary ions detected at secondary ion mass analysis, the nucleic acid concentration of the nucleic acid probe dots of unknown concentration is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
