ALIGNMENT APPARATUS FOR RECTANGULAR CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alignment apparatus which smoothly aligns rectangular containers. SOLUTION: The alignment apparatus 1 for rectangular bottles 1A consists of a conveyance means for carrying by a sterile air conveyer 10 in a constant direction and a plurality of alignment guide members 16 and 17 provided in parallel via a distance narrower than the diagonal distance of the maximum length of the rectangular bottle 1A and wider than an opposite interval between their long sides to form a passage where the bottles 1A are aligned. Guide bars 16A and 17A constituting the passage are formed so that they reciprocate relatively fore-and-aft in parallel to the carrying direction of the bottles 1A. In addition, at least one of ends of the guide members 16 and 17 is formed in a shape to tilt in the carrying direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
