PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical absorptive article having a medical drain tube suitable for application to a projected diseased part and surely picking up body fluid oozing out through the drain tube. SOLUTION: This medical absorptive article includes a liquid permeable surface sheet 11 provided on the side facing to the skin of the body 31 of a patient; a leakage preventing sheet 12 provided on the outside; and an absorber 13 disposed between both sheets. In a first surface 2 facing to the skin, the surface sheet 11 and the absorber 13 are recessed toward the leakage preventing sheet 12, and the recessed part functions as a pocket part 20. The drain tube 32 extending to the outside of the body is stored in the pocket part 20, and the body fluid oozing out through the drain tube 20 can be collected by the absorber 13.
