PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for resolving backlash of a seat back by actions of imposing/biting and releasing with a wedge piece composing of an eccentric axis part when fixing a position of the seat back, for rotating and transmitting smoothly an external gear and an internal gear when adjusting the position of the seatback and having characteristics of load-carrying-resistance and wear-resistance, in a reclining device of the car seat using a differential transmission mechanism by the internal gear and the external gear. SOLUTION: With the reclining device using a differential transmission mechanism engaging an internal gear 1 into an external gear 2 with the less number of teeth than the internal gear 1, an eccentric axis part 4 comprises two pieces of wedge plates 5, 5' imposed between a bearing ring inner peripheral face 2c of the external gear 2 and a bearing tube outer peripheral face 1b of the internal gear 1when fixing the position of the seat back, a spring rod 6 for biasing each of the two pieces of wedge plates 5, 5' toward each imposing direction opposite to each other, and an operating piece 3a for rotating together with a rotating shaft 3 to release an imposing state of the wedge plates 5, 5' when fixing the position of the seat back and for rotating together with the wedge plates 5, 5'.
